Windows XP Registry Cleaners – Your Ultimate Guide

August 5th, 2009

Computers would be a completely fascinating object if it would function at the same speed and efficiency over the course of time. But computers are man-made machines that are bound to some limitations. One day it will irritate its user for displaying many error messages and as a result makes the speed of the computer a snail-like pacing. It is also vulnerable to all forms of malicious software, such as viruses. To avoid such computer dilemmas some upgrade their computer systems from Microsoft 2003-2007 to Windows Vista or XP. While some downloads the best anti-viruses software and keep their computers bug free. But if the main problem is about its registry system the ultimate remedy for this is to secure an XP computer with Windows XP Registry Cleaners.

As the name suggests it is more applicable to computers with Windows XP application. Windows XP Registry Cleaners is a software that’s primarily created to conduct check-up, diagnosis, and provide suggestions on how to improve a computer’s worthiness in terms of speed, and over-all functioning. Most often the error that is encountered by computer system is caused by human shortcomings. Sometimes PC owners are careless in uninstalling programs that several key features are left in the registry. They also turn off computers not the right way. And sometimes they do put inputs that are obviously eerie. As a result computers start to malfunction and deter in efficiency.

But don’t give as just yet with your computer set. As long as a copy of Windows XP cleaners is around cleaning up a computer system and eliminating unwanted, insignificant, and eerie files can be an easy task. Windows XP Registry Cleaners help us automate the rather manual work of checking every section of a computer system. Essentially, it finds ways to improve the performance of a computer by detecting invalid entries, redundant files or broken links.

XP Registry Cleaners are often downloadable and offer free trials. One will decide which among available free ceaners is the most effective for a particular computer system. One of the newest features of XP Registry Cleaners is the ability of a user to backup his registry before attempting to clean up everything that messed up with a computer system. Unlike with other cleaners, XP need not a third party tools to back-up files because it already contains not only one but two software that will allow us to back-up files and restore everything without so much hassle.

However, Registry Cleaners can at times really be disappointing because of not staying true with its promises. For computer savvy users they can easily determine which has serious problems from those with slight troubles. That’s why they sometimes wonder why on earth Registry Cleaners claim some of the files as terribly wrong without providing reliable information about the problem. Registry Cleaners are also not good detector of harmful software. Therefore, diagnostic software that truly serves its purpose is that wouldn’t be stuck in your computer and would only occupy large portion of your PC’s hard drive.

Registry Smart-Your Ultimate Review

August 1st, 2009

Registry Smart is supposedly the best registry cleaner on the market. However, after having review it, I might have a different name for it. Let’’s take a look at the special features and functions included with Registry Smart.

One of the most interesting claims that the program makes is that it scans every single inch of your registry. I recently tested out the program, and was surprised to see that it actually missed several areas of the registry that many other registry cleaners that I have used do scan. This was not only surprising, but kind of annoying as I knew that the program was not doing all that it could to remove potential problems and infections from my registry. The scan that the program preformed also took a very long time. So long that I felt that I could of ran three or four other registry cleaning programs in the time that I ran just this one. If you are looking for speed, this program is not the one that you are going to want.

I figured that I would be sold on the program after I had seen how many features it had. Well, it turned out that the exact opposite reaction happened. I saw how few features that this program had and was shocked. In order to remove infections and problems that were deeply rooted on the computer, it required using one of the three tools that I did have four times! The removal speed was so slow, and just like everything else in the program, I grew further annoyed and disappointed by how much of the program was a waste.

One of the perks of the program, at least to some people, is that it offers free features as well as paid features. The free features are less than the paid features, but the program still has the ability to remove basic infections and problems. In some respects, I was more happy when I was using the free version than I ever was using the paid version. The free version was at least stable enough to complete scans and remove the problems where every time I tried to use the paid version, it would crash. The free version of the program does scan the entire registry, but you cannot be sure that it does not miss anything. I would recommend avoiding both versions of Registry Smart, however, if you must download one, try the free version over the paid version.

Registry Smart was one of the biggest disappointments of a software program that I have ever seen. It was very slow, irritatingly buggy and did not seem to be as feature rich as it was said to be. You could find many other registry cleaners that are far superior, even several free ones that install spyware are better than Registry Smart! If you are looking for a registry cleaner, make sure you purchase a proven one that will remove all the infections within your registry, as well as not constantly crash!

What is the Best Registry Cleaner?

July 31st, 2009

There are so many registry cleaners out on the market today. However, it is hard to decide which ones are really the best. So many registry cleaners try to say that they are the best, and that they can remove the most useless files off of your registry. When you are looking for the best one, you need to know what features are important and which are just fluff.

For example, one of the most important features of a registry cleaner is its ability to replace missing DLL files. DLL or dynamic linking library files are used by a computer to gives properties to files. When they go missing, some files may not open or function properly. Many registry editors have clean copies on a central server that they can download and install if they are missing on your computer.

Another important feature of every registry cleaner is its ability to cleanup useless files. Many of these orphan files are left on your computer after windows installs a program. Not only are these files useless, but they take up valuable space on your computer where another important file could be. These useless files are never deleted unless you have one of the highest quality registry cleaners on the market.

A perfect registry cleaner will also ask you to backup your registry before you do anything that could damage the registry. If it does not ask you to do this, be very hesitant about buying it. The software writers may not be aware of the full range of the program and if you are not careful, you could cause unrepairable damage!

While some cleaners will only attack the registry itself, the best will make sure there is no spyware, malware, or viruses anywhere on your registry or computer. Many anti-virus programs are now coming as part of a registry cleaner, and you would be amazed at the results that they can produce. While these bundles of software may be a bit more expensive than some of the other registry cleaners you have bought, they are just as good, if not better than many other registry cleaners.

Be careful when using cleaners that remove windows installer files. While many of the windows installer files are not necessary after installing a program, some may be required, depending upon the program to either run the program or to uninstall the program. If your registry cleaner deletes the installer files when they are still needed by the program it could be quite a problem to run that program.

There are so many different types and price ranges for registry cleaners on the market today. However, all registry cleaners are built to help rid your computer of registry errors, spyware, malware, adware and viruses. You need to take a good look at reviews of each registry cleaner in order to chose the right one for yourself. In order to really fix your registry, you need a proven registry cleaner that knows how to remove each and every problem from your computer.

Spyware Blaster – Beware!

July 30th, 2009

Any computer that has access to the internet can get infected by spywares. There are some spywares which have the ability to record every data that you typed in the websites that you have visited while there are some can also be in command of your web browser. A number of spywares attach itself into legal programs or softwares and enters your computer without being noticed.

A perfect example is the ActiveX, a program that is used when downloading software from legitimate website. Since ActiveX doesn’t have the ability to detect which files are harmful and which are not, the risk of getting a spyware is very high. For these reasons you need to install software that can protect your PC from spywares. A good example is the Spyware Blaster.

Developed by Java Cool, Spyware Blaster has the capability to prevent harmful spywares, ad-wares and even hijackers from invading your PC, limit the activities of malicious websites and stop ActiveX from downloading files that potentially contains spyware. In addition, it can hinder some hijacker’s crimes like tracking or spying through cookies.

This software also guarantees 4 things to their users. The first one is that it won’t interrupt you from doing other things on your computer. Your web browser and your computer will not slow down even if you open Spyware Blaster. Second, it does not use too much memory. Third, it won’t cause a conflict to any of the softwares you already have in your computer. And lastly, you won’t have any difficulty using it.

Spyware Blaster sure looks to be very efficient, right? But did you know that this software has several weaknesses that you should be aware of?

Admirably, the software is indeed free to download. However, you still need to remind yourself to update it every week because it has no auto-update feature. If you want it to automatically update, you have to purchase the Spyware Blaster Auto Update. This means that the free version is not enough to protect your PC from spywares.

Spyware Blaster is also known to have compatibility issues with Firefox add-ons. A lot of Firefox users have testified that their browser crashes down every time they open the software. You can search the internet and see for yourself.

Lastly, the biggest downfall of this software is that it doesn’t have the ability to scan and remove spywares from your PC. Since it focuses only on the protection and prevention of your PC, all the spywares that are already residing on your PC will be left undetected and unharmed even if you install Spyware Blaster in your computer. Provided that you have the free version, and you forgot to perform an update, all the spywares that has already entered your PC will not be removed anymore. You will need an additional software which can remove spywares. But, why do you need to install two softwares if you there are other powerful softwares that can detect, remove and protect your PC from spywares?

In general, Spyware Blaster can be helpful if you are using a new PC or Laptop. However, it is much better to use spyware removal software which offers more functions aside from protecting your PC or Laptop.

Registry Mechanic-Does it Work?

July 30th, 2009

The Registry Mechanic is one of the latest software sold in the market which has many promises that has been tremendously tested and evaluated by the most reputable stores and sites in the internet. Basically, the Registry Mechanic lacks the different tools and programs that are necessary to micromanage the process of keeping the performance of the computer optimum. The fact of the matter is, different software that help computer function reach its peak relies on a multitude of programs which are integrated together to allow better comprehension of the different situations occurring in the different areas in the computer. Once the computer has been scanned, the system optimizer would then find and fix the different damages which have occurred due to the installation of tools and programs, files and multimedia content and other data which has a very serious implications on the spots located in the hard drive of the user.

This is the issue which has been overlooked by most software manufacturers. They fail to realize that every time their products and programs have been installed in the hard drive, it would cause a small amount of damage that could progressively continue on and develop complications and severity depending on how deep the files have been embedded in the system. The files which have been installed would develop what is known as cracks or system compromising spaces due to the fact that their previous spot would be recognized by the system process and would take a lot of time every instance that it is read and scanned. This is the main problem which the Registry Mechanic program addresses. But in reality, tests on the performance of Registry Mechanic has shown that it only reaches a certain level of system optimizing due to its lack of tools to comprehensively and deeply fix the different files involved.

Basically, the Registry Mechanic was subjected to several computers with different degrees of damages and extent of soft memory strain. The Registry Mechanic has shown that it can only handle the minor problems which have been found in at least two of the seven computers. This test has exposed the Registry Mechanic and its incapability to handle the different problems involved in the business of computer performance optimization. This program lacked the tools to rapidly look into every possible avenue of trouble cause by all the previous and current programs installed. This is certainly bad considering the fact that most viruses, worms, and other threats can strongly evade even the most advance encryptions and firewalls due to the fact that they are updated by the hackers who have made them into a regular basis.

The Registry Mechanic cannot stand up to the claims it had given the people that it can fix the worst and severe problems encountered in the everyday use. This lack of functionality makes the Registry Mechanic basically inappropriate for consumers who are heavy users of their computers. In order to maximize the life of their computer, they should constantly maintain a good computer condition and level of functionality. The best registry cleaner can achieve this optimum computer performance of the user.
