Motorola Out With New Sholes

October 20th, 2009

In 2008, Motorola went through a steep decline in its global market share. However, early this year Motorola managed to pull it off by making a decent profit. And now it’s time for Motorola’s much hyped Android -powered Smartphone. (There is going to be around another twenty Android devices towards the end of 2009, one of them being a Samsung launch – Samsung i7500 and two other products by Motorola. G1 and Magic from HTC have already been introduced, while Acer and Sony Ericsson are expected to launch their Android gadgets by the end of this year- that is 2009.) So that will make a bunch of Android Smartphones in the market, but Motorola’s Sholes is {anticipated} to top all other Android devices, both in terms of looks and features.

A Quick Peek Into Motorola’s Sholes -

The first time when a little time back, in July, the pictures of Motorola Sholes leaked out, it turned out to be no different than people had thought of. With that I don’t mean the design and features of Sholes weren’t good – the appearance is worth a look. Also, Motorola may be the first Android manufacture to support a physical keyboard.

The Rumored Features of Motorola Sholes Are -

•    3.7 inch touch screen(capacitance based)
•    5 mega pixel autofocus camera
•    GPS(Global Positioning System)
•    Bluetooth 2.0
•    A slide out QUERTY keyboard
•    256 MB RAM and 512 ROM
•    A micro SDHC slot supposedly supporting card up to 16GB size
•    WiFi
•    3.5mm standard headphone jack

That actually sounds like a good deal of killer features.

Motorola Sholes’s Launch-

On September 10th, Motorola made brief announcement about Android in San Francisco.

Motorola’s Sholes is speculated to be introduced in public sometime in this month. Hopefully, the final Sholes that is brought to the market keep up with people’s expectations as the look of Motorola’s Sholes did.

Cookie KP500 – Design and Look-

In terms of the display of the Smartphone, it does a fairly good work. No, actually the phone is  slightly on the regular side as the phone lacks great designs or color or looks (but much better than LG Prada). [Yet, this phone has been doing [brilliantly in the market and the sales of the phone show the same.

Sales Of LG Cookie KP500-

In February, 2009, LG Cookie KP500 went on to becoming United Kingdom’s popular touchscreen handset. As a matter of fact, with in little time of its release, KP500 sold 5 million units and it has been supposed that by the end of this year, that is 2009, KP500 will have 10 million units sold all across the globe. Ten millions undoubtedly is a massive number! The high sales have made Cookie KP500 one of the best commercial successes till now

iPhone VS BlackBerry

March 23rd, 2009

It used to be that only business professionals had the need of a handheld device, for those times when they were away from the office or in a meeting. However, times have changed and life has become busier for everyone. The stay at home parent finds that they cannot keep up with their children’s schedules and appointments. Even those without children find that there are appointments that they must keep up with. Enter into the world of the PDA and Smartphone to help manage tasks and appointments.

Here you can read some real user reviews about the Sony Xperia X1 Smartphone, Xperia X1 Reviews

Are you sick and tired of lugging around an appointment book, a cell phone and a laptop just to stay connected with work and friends? Are you tired of forgetting important appointments and not being able to communicate on the fly? Then perhaps there is an answer to your communication and scheduling dilemma. You may need to look into purchasing a Smartphone to help you manage your busy schedule.

The invention of the Smartphone is nothing new. It has been around for quite some time in the form of PalmOs and Blackberry. However, more companies are joining in on the race to create a versatile phone that can run all of the applications that are needed by the user. You can thank Apple’s iPhone for prodding more companies into creating Smartphones.

The PalmOs and the Blackberry was perhaps two of the most commonly used Smartphones in the business, but thanks to some prodding by Apple’s iPhone, the other companies are jumping in to produce a Smartphone. They want to keep their customers and be able to offer them the latest technology in competition with the Blackberry and the iPhone. Do you still have questions about whether a Smartphone is right for your personal and business needs?

So why use a Smartphone? Well for starters, they are incredibly versatile. Most phones prior to 2008 were running on Windows Mobile 5, but with the debut of Windows Mobile 6, more applications have opened up for use and there is more processor speed behind these small cell phones. The iPAQ Pocket PC is a prime example of faster running speed, but lacks the communication power of the iPhone. The iPhone has definitely set the standard for cell phones!

If you find yourself in the market for a Smartphone, then you absolutely cannot go wrong with the iPhone; however, keep in mind the other major players in the industry. You may not pay as much as you would for the iPhone, but you still get the same capabilities. The iPhone still has a hefty price tag of $399 and new Smartphones can be purchased for less with a new contract from a cellular provider.

The iPhone is a great phone to own, but it does have its drawbacks, namely a hefty $399 price tag. With a new Smartphone, you may be able to get a substantial discount by opening up a new contract with a cellular provider. The best thing you can do is to shop around to find the best deals that have the capabilities that you need and want, all wrapped up into one very useful package.

Smartphone – The Modern PDA

March 21st, 2009

Sometimes, it is easy to get lost in technological terms. There are instances where one term can apply to different subjects. One example of this is the term “mobile technologies.” Yes, it does refer to a dual-action processor found in laptops and desktop computers, but it also can refer to the use of technology that you take with you on the go, such as PDAs and Smartphones. This is an age where you have to be mobile if you are going to stay ahead.

A great example of a popular smartphone is this RIM BlackBerry Storm 9530 read RIM BlackBerry Storm 9530 Reviews here.

Life comes at you fast, especially in the realm of technology where there are terms that are continuously flying at you. Some have dual meanings, such as mobile technologies. Mobile technology can refer to a dual-action processor and it can refer to the mobile gadgets, such as PDAs and Smartphones. We are living in a mobile age and if you are going to stay in contact with your home and work, then you must be able to be contacted no matter where you are.

A good example of  a great piece of mobile technology is the iPhone This piece of machinery is top of the line when it comes to mobile technology. It has received rave reviews from panels, such as those found on www.azoomed.com.

Azoomed.com is a valuable tool that you can use when it comes time to buy your hand held device. They offer both editorial reviews and user reviews of different products that are currently on the market, along with reviews of older pieces of technology. One example of mobile technologies is the hand held devices produced by HTC. One in particular is the HTC Touch Pro. This device is top of the line and is currently being sold and manufactured around the world.

The reviews come from its outstanding performance and speed. The HTC Touch is operating on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and has the capabilities of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, along with a Qualcomm MSM7201A ARM Processor. The 2.8 inch screen is unbelievable with its color pixels and it features a replaceable battery to ensure that documents and other information are not lost when the battery dies. It also features a large quantity of memory and is equipped with Outlook, Word, Excel and Internet Explorer.

There are other mobile technologies on the market today that can be bought for far less than the HTC Touch Pro price tag. However, few can match its performance power. One of its chief competitors is Apple’s new iPhone 3g, which users have fallen in love with for its extra capabilities, such as the use of an iPod and a gaming Smartphone. Whatever you decide is up to your own unique preferences and your own personal needs.

There are plenty of mobile technologies out there when it comes time to make your decision on which model and series to buy. Do not let price be the only determining factor in your decision. Yes, some models are going to cost more than others, but the price may be worth it in the end depending on what you need.
