Lets explore the latest ipod nano, we have at present been blessed with the 4th generation iPod Nano which is even smaller in design than its ancestors, this nano is compact and thin with dimensions of 3.6 x 1.5 x 0.24″ and weighs only 1.3 oz (36.8g) which makes it extremely lightweight, unlike many other MP3 players. It now has expanded capacity, and of course, cool new features! One new feature is what is called the  Genius which searches your library for music that is much like what you enjoy listening to already, it then generates a Genius playlist for you to take pleasure in over and over again.

With the 4th generation ipod nano you can achieve instantaneous shuffle mode just  by shaking it, one of those Cool features. The 16GB flash drive will hold 4,000 songs in 128-Kbps AAC format, 14,000 photos and 16 hours of video which by the way, plays MPEG-4 and QuickTime video format.  As with all its ipod ancestors,  functioning and longevity are impervious by vibrations, so it’s perfect for any quest you enjoy, the ipod even makes housework bearable! This invention is housed in rugged anodized aluminum and you can choose from many beautiful colors. Get this, even as small as it is, because of the built in rechargeable lithium ion battery, it will still give you up to 24 hours of music and 5 hours of video playback on a single charge.  It is completely charged in approximately 3 hours. This nano design is the initial one of its kind to offer video playback on a very bright 2″ 320 x 240 204 pixels per inch display. The ipod nano plays AIFF, AAC, WAV and MP3 uncompressed.

You can sync your iPod nano to a Mac or PC and your contacts, calendars and that To-Do list come right along for the journey. This ipod also has a notes reader programmed into it. For those folks that don’t know, iTunes supports Outlook and Outlook Express for the PC, and also your address book and iCal on the Mac.

As with all the ipod generations, that countless used and abused Apple click wheel places music under your thumb. Click to fast-forward, rewind, play, pause or access menus. Use of the touch-sensitive surface controls the volume or browse music.
