Should I buy a home water purifier?
Water produced by the Citys Water Treatment Plant meets all, and in most cases is better than, rigorous national drinking water quality standards. If not properly maintained, home purification and/or filtration systems can actually cause water quality problems. A carbon type filter may be beneficial for those allergic to chlorine but frequent filter changes must be made to prevent bacterial problems from developing. If possible, the environment that the air purifier is working in should be isolated. That means in a bedroom doors should be closed and vent registers should be equipped with filters. During the day all pets should be evacuated, and the air purifier should be turned on high. At night when the room is inhabited the air purifier can be turned down to a lower level. Air purifiers should never be turned off.Generally speaking, for an adequate air exchange rate, you can expect up to 500 sq. ft. coverage for the SE400E, and around 700 sq. ft.

What is a Seagull IV water purifier? What is it supposed to do?
Simply stated, Seagull IV water purifier is a truly unique, compact, point-of-use system designed to change virtually any treatable non-salt water into delicious drinking water that is both safe and enjoyable to consume. Because the Seagull IV water purifier was developed with aircraft, yachting, and recreational vehicle applications in mind, it is especially rugged, dependable, simple, and easily serviced. It requires no additions of chemicals and no electricity.

Do I need any filters?
The SE400E and SE800E are equipped with a mesh prefilter to handle the larger particles, and an electrostatic collection cell to focus on the microscopic airborne particulates. The collection cell never needs to be replaced unless it becomes damaged, and the prefilter can be washed and re-used many times before an inexpensive replacement is needed.Oreck products can be registered by filling out a form online.

How often should I use my air purifier?
The more you use your air purifier, the more effectively the air is exchanged or cleaned. For example, if the air purifier is used only 5 hours per day, then during the remaining 19 hours, pollen, dust and smoke particles will start to increase until the air purifier is again started. For maximum efficiency, the air purifier should be used constantly or at least several times throughout the day. This depends on your individual circumstances. Concerning the elimination of unpleasant odors, improvement could be noticeable within minutes – or results could take several hours. People with allergies and hay fever should see a marked improvement in a very short period of time.

Where do I place the units?
For best capture results, you’ll want to install these smoke air purifiers as close to the contamination source as possible.for any open volume of space, you do have to size your air cleaner according to the full volume of open space in order to render effective air exchange rate.

Q. Will a Biozone Air Purifier cure allergies and asthma?
Biozone Air Purifiers will not cure allergies or asthma or other breathing problems. They are not medical devices and are not designed specifically for the treatment or prevention of any health problem or ailment. However, it has been shown than most asthma and allergy sufferers do benefit greatly from the pollutant reduction these units provide. Mold, pollen, dust, animal dander, dust mites, chemical gases, and other common allergens are all effectively reduced in a Biozone environment. There are several reasons for this. With the technology that we use, our units are capable of removing particles and contaminates down to .01 microns! To put this in perspective, a HEPA filter only removes particles down to .05 microns, and if the filter is not perfectly sealed in gel, many contaminates leak past the filter anyway.Once the Homespring Central Water Purifier is installed, the system is working. There is no start or stop switch.
