One of the ways pictures are taken most of the time is in a portrait style.Portraits are those photos with the subject pretty much in a pose.  Since it is so common a lot of times you don’t see a variety.But if you use your creativity you can transform a familiar shot into something extraordinary.With this article I would like to share with you some things you can do to make them better.

First thing you can do differently is having the photo taken from a different perspective.What I am talking about is to not take the photograph from where you would normally take it.You can make where the picture is coming from different.  This is helpful in my San Diego wedding photographer business.People are so accustomed to the way most photos are taken that when it is taken differently it makes such a big difference.  For example photos you can take from a high angle.Or you can make a common portrait and take it from the ground looking up to make it different.It can really change the photograph dramatically.

Another way to change things up a bit is by doing some things with the eyes.Most of the pictures that are taken are usually with the subject looking into the camera.But where you direct the subject’s eye can really make a dramatic difference in the photo.  What you can do is have the subject look off camera.  This really gives the photo a different look and feel to it. Another great tip you can implement is having your subject look at an object within the picture.This is so effective if your goal is to advertise something.You can get the subject to look at the product you are promoting.  This is a trick that I do a lot as a San Diego corporate photographer.  It really helps focus the attention on the product.

Another way of improving your photography skills is by entering and joining a photography competition.  There is nothing like a little competition to get the competitive juices flowing.These competitions are a great venue to try and do your best.And after the competition what’s good is that you can compare your work to other’s work . I’ve been playing guitar for well over thirty years but I’ve only recently discovered the fun that can be had with easily made cigar box guitars.

If you have never heard of cigar box guitars I shall explain what they are. The clue is in the name, a cigar box guitar is a guitar made from a wooden cigar box. They tend to be home made instruments that use a cigar box as the resonator in the same way that an acoustic guitar uses its guitar body to amplify the sound from the strings.

Back in the 19th century cigar smoking was far more popular than it is today. They began to package cigars in wooden boxes from around the middle of the 19th century and people soon found a use for these boxes in various home made instruments.

It’s quite easy to turn a cigar box into a basic guitar using a length of wood and a few guitar tuners and this is why they became a popular folk instrument. The simplest of cigar box guitars might have only one string, but they are commonly made with three strings and no frets. Fretting the steel strings would be achieved using a bottleneck or a piece of animal bone.

Cigar box based musical instruments are a traditional form of folk instrument that could easily be made using items that would otherwise have been thrown away. In recent years there has been increased interest in these simple instruments with people sharing their building expertise, tips and advice on the internet. And home made guitar like instruments don’t have to be based on a cigar box. Many builders of cigar box guitars use other boxes for the resonator including biscuit tins oil drums and childrens lunch boxes.

Honestly, there are a number of possibilities that could have caused that infection in the first place. What caused an infection can be hard to pinpoint at times. You could have gotten the infection when you were at work, in the shopping mall, during an activity or at home.   Many sinus infections are known for being caused by the common cold, which is known as viral influenza. This will cause you to have congestion in the nose area.   During this time, the nose will be filled with that mucus, which will cause an accumulation of white blood cells in the nose lining. This in turns makes it hard for the individual to breathe or smell and the only way you can get it out would be to blow it out.   Commonly, this common flu will stay for about one week. After this time, we usually recover, but it will leave behind those inflamed sinuses. You may not realize it, but the nose is a sensitive part of the human body that is able to catch viral infections easily.   A sinus infection could also be caused by being exposed to pollen, dust particles and other irritants that are in the air. This type of stuff prevents the mucus from draining away. When bacteria that cause influenza and streptococcus pneumonia are in your upper respiratory tract, it can cause an infection. Sinus infections are painful and if you shake your head and it hurts, then you probably have one.
